Sliding Scale Half-Day Saturday Workshop!

This Saturday Morning, October 22nd, 8am-11 am (Pacific US Time) workshop will:

***Throughout we will look at the bestselling The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves by Shawn A. Ginwright, Ph.D., an activist’s road map to long-term social justice impact through four simple shifts.

  1. Show steps you can take to self-care and regulate in 2 minutes or less
  2. Provide valuable insights into how our heart-brain coherence impacts connection
  3.  Illuminate the powerful ways we can turn our coherence into compassionate communication and impactful solutions and healing for self and those we serve
  4. How we can read a room without words spoken
  5. Share Anodea Judith’s insights into human energy systems (aka chakras) and tools to rebalance so we can show up at capacity
  6. Provide insights and anecdotes into real restorative justice scenarios and how they were navigated with the presence
  7. A slide deck, certificate of completion, and recording/resources that will not expire.

Our Sliding Scale ($39 - $109, you input what you can/choose) is in place and we hope we are upholding our value of accessibility and abundance/reciprocity, but if you have barriers to this offering please reach out asap to rjonrise@gmail.com and we will take care of you. We run on tuition alone at this time, so thank you for considering a larger contribution than suggested, if you wish and can.

You will come away from this morning session refreshed and empowered with insights!

Host & Executive Producer - Molly Rowan Leach

Now in its sixth season and featuring freely accessible archives of dozens of national and global pioneers in the field, Molly Rowan Leach founded Restorative Justice on The Rise as a response to her own witnessing at an up close and personal level of the devastating effects of the punitive justice system: her own mother has been incarcerated with mental illness for close to 15 years in the State of Idaho.

What She Believes:

She believes there are many honorable and good people within the Correctional and Law Enforcement systems who would agree and are striving for viable solutions to a broken and inhumane system.

Her passion:

Her passion is helping bring forward the incredible work happening on every level in our world to integrate Restorative practices and justice into the mainstream.

Molly Rowan Leach is an international virtual dialogue host and PR/Outreach professional with a passion for peace, justice and individual and collective healing.

Her inspiration:

Ms. Leach is inspired also by the global traditions and movements of many on the periphery of societies and those who’ve experienced atrocity first-hand, and practices of the Indigenous peoples of our world, who’ve shown the way over time to help us regain a clarity that Restorative justice is nothing new, but a paradigm, practice, and a very viable systemic method whose time has come once again.
