The World's First Podcast & Public Dialogue On Restorative Justice
Providing connection, advocacy, education and inspired action as a public service to individuals and communities seeking to proactively improve relationships and structures within their spheres and our world.

We host regular "lives" for you to join with our podcast guests. We are honored to be the first of its kind in the global field, beginning in 2011 and inspired by the power of giving voice and creating spaces for belonging, even online.
Restorative Justice on the Rise relies solely on webinar income and community support.

Introduction to the Restorative Way seminar flyer. Text reads

Support Eric Butler's family with a Tribute T-Shirt

Eric’s youngest daughter Taylor Thomas, along with CeCe’s (Talking Peace) family designed a magnificent T-Shirt for sale with all proceeds going to Eric’s Family.

Music was life to Eric. He always had it on, and it was a way to connect. Every time we did an online offering together, he’d want some Stevie Wonder—often the song, “Love’s In Need Of Love Today”, to lead us in. To conclude he would say to everyone:

“I love you, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Restorative Justice on the Rise was founded in 2011 to inspire connection and collaboration while empowering people to do the same

Vision

Uniting people worldwide around restorative justice's answer to humanizing justice, empowering victims, creating spaces for the larger stories and for uncomfortable -- yet essential -- conversations.

Mission

Provide a global resource and educational hub that features an ongoing public live podcast, webinars, facilitation and consultations. More importantly, provide a place where people can find one another and be empowered.

Restorative Justice is Not New

We are inspired by the global traditions and movements on the periphery of societies who’ve experienced atrocity first-hand. The Indigenous peoples of our world have shown that restorative justice is nothing new, but a very viable systemic method whose time has come once again.
