Restorative Justice comes to us from Indigenous peoples and traditions around the world, from both ancient and present times. In tribal society, everyone has contributions to make to maintain the harmony and well-being of the tribe or community. When harm or conflict occurs, it is understood that those directly responsible and involved as well as members of the community are a part of a process for making right and restoring relationships.
We've partnered with the criminal justice systems to address crime and conflict with jaw-dropping outcomes — 10% recidivism rates (compared to the national 60-70% national average) and 96% satisfaction rates reported by all participant groups, including victims, offenders, community members, parents, police officers and educators.
