Coming from a variety of voices with first-hand experience in the field
The mission of this series is to center how to address, and build:

  • Strong and authentic relationships of trust cross-community/profession
  • Trauma-aware, informed, and responsive practice and steps within the actual process of casework
  • Actualized Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion with Cultural Responsiveness at the forefront.
  • Working alongside and with CJ partners built on common values and goals for community; addressing key challenges
  • Gaining deeper understanding of why CHRJ as goal (as opposed to umbrella programs under DA offices, for example) can and does support the mission of eventually receiving direct referrals pre-filing, which is arguably the goal of 'community held' restorative justice (although not yet at all actualized)
  • Solutions AND challenges
