Dominic Barter Monthly Mentoring Sessions - 2019

Dear Global Friends and Community,

You are invited to attend monthly mentoring sessions with Dominic Barter, accessible by phone, webcast and/or using skype or google chat to call in. Dom's sessions are a very special opportunity to connect together via our ongoing 2019 mentoring and presentation series, The Connection Series, featuring restorative practices and peacebuilding leadership and community voices from all over the world, to generate deeper cohesion, connection, and to share what's alive and cooking for you in your practice and commitment to restorative justice and peacebuilding. We encourage live attendance if at all possible, and also are sensitive to our friends with native languages that may make it a bit difficult to chime in--as Dom said recently, please don't let it stop you, and we will do everything we can to work out some of the translation pieces as we go.

GUIDELINES FOR OUR SHARED SPACE

1. The space is for confidentially sharing in general terms our beginning or ongoing work in building restorative systems and designing the practices they contain. For those new to the work these concepts will be explained. The sessions are not a space for direct conflict resolution or bringing that to the virtual group. Since some references to situations that may be shared might be triggering for some of us, you might like to have external support available.

2. Please have read the Financial Co-responsibility terms before attending.

3. The series of monthly sessions are for people committed to hands on work in their immediate spheres over the long term.

4. We ask that those coming do so as learners and refrain from sharing this work as teachers until they have several years of direct experience putting it to practice in their own lives and community/organizational contexts.

5. As our focus is on the experiential learning of participants there will not be any written documents or materials distributed. Recordings will be reviewed before any become public domain in order to facilitate frank exchange, so please respect this and wait until any are distributed.
